JD Thomas

John David Thomas “JD” excels at building and developing high performing teams to service the critical needs of our clients in the South Central Region of the Americas.  

JD Thomas is the Regional Vice President of the South Central Region of the Americas which includes Crane Worldwide Logistics’ headquarters in Houston, Texas, the U.S. Gulf Coast, the U.S. Southern Border, and Mexico. Previously, JD held the position of District Director of Houston.  

JD Thomas joined Crane Worldwide Logistics in the Leadership Development Program in 2009. The Leadership Development program is modeled to invest in graduates entering the industry to develop their talent to create future leaders at Crane Worldwide. JD has worked in numerous positions with increasing responsibility throughout the organization which has given him the expertise and full grasp of the business’s operations. He is highly skilled in supply chain solutions with an expansive knowledge of oil and gas, industrial, government, and life science verticals.    

 JD holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a specialization in supply chain management from the University of West Florida.  He also holds an Executive MBA from Texas A&M University. JD currently lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Kate, and his son John Brooks.
