We believe that it is important to be responsible corporate citizens and have a social responsibility in the locations where we operate.
Around the world, our employees take part in local events to support charities that provide services to those in need. Crane Cares is driven by our employees at a local level; Donations, participation and active involvement in community projects and charities enable our employees to make a difference in the areas in which they live.
Crane Cares provides a framework to our employees to drive initiatives in their local areas and includes three tranches:
GIVE WORLDWIDE: Our commitment to our communities. Our employees globally are involved in activities that reflect our commitment to our communities and supporting the poor, sick and those impacted by disasters. Recent examples include major recycling initiatives, volunteering at orphanages, donating to hospitals, collecting school supplies, meals for homeless children and donating time and money to aid flood and hurricane disaster victims.
GREEN WORLDWIDE: Our commitment to our environment. Through Green Worldwide, we have taken part in recycling initiatives globally, cleaned beaches in South America, maintained gardens in India and planted trees in the United Kingdom and helped clean up communities in North America.
LIVE WELL WORLDWIDE: Our commitment to the wellness and safety of our employees. We promote a healthy lifestyle to our employees around the world through wellness initiatives focused on physical activity, stress management and mental health, healthy eating and personal safety. We promote high employee engagement and comfortable working relationships.
